45-year-old female patient 3 months after Broad Band Light Treatment (also known as BBL) to remove sun spots and age spots from her face and hands.

The treatment can also be used hands and chest… as well as any other area where there is abnormal pigmentation BBL is the next generation of the Intense Pulse Light or Photofacial Treatment. Instead of using only one light source, BBL uses a broad spectrum of light to provide a more uniform and effective treatment.

  • Results seen after only 1 treatment
  • Results are evident within 1-2 weeks
  • Most patients can return to work in 1-3 days depending on the degree of sun damage
  • Treatments are suggested every 3 months

How quickly can you return to work after a BBL treatment?

  • Most patients can return to work the next day but…
  • If you have a lot of sun damage, there may be more swelling and delay return to work for 3-5 days
