As we age, our jawlines and skin can begin to sag. Happily, using injectables in a simple, out-patient procedure can sculpt the jawline – giving our clients a tightened, more youthful appearance. Injectables are giving fantastic results all over the face. Filler treatments are making foreheads smoother, cheekbones more defined, and a whole list of other rejuvenating benefits like plumpness and erasure of fine lines. Fillers are used to achieve a number of beneficial results.

  • They add volume to the face as it ages.
  • They correct areas where noticeable aging has occurred.
  • They can also prevent aging – keeping the skin and tone youthful.

Hollywood elites have been turning to injectables for decades with great results adding more volume, definition, and freshness without the time or discomfort of surgery.

These techniques are making A-list results available to millions of men and women around the globe. The non-surgical approach to the face and body removes barriers to a more sculpted and defined look. Your slimmer, more defined jawline is only a few office visits away.

What are Jawline Fillers?

Jawline fillers have gained popularity with men and women seeking a chiseled jawline. Through the use of safe, reversible hyaluronic acid-based products (synthetic versions of those naturally occurring in the body) clients are achieving a more toned, youthful appearance.

Who Benefits from a Non-Surgical Jawline Procedure?

Men and women alike are looking to transform their weaker jawlines into those with a more vigorous, angular appearance. Bone loss in the mandible and the build up of subcutaneous fat tissue are common signs of aging. However, a sculpted jawline helps restore a youthful vibrancy. Younger clients who have a less pronounced jawline may also take advantage of this non-invasive contouring technique and enjoy a more even, defined jawline.

How Jawline Fillers Work

These sessions usually last 10-15 minutes. A cannula is a painless, blunt needle that slowly layers the hyaluronic acid filler over and under the jawline muscles. Using a cannula significantly reduces pain and the risk of bleeding, swelling, and bruising, while providing a highly sculpted appearance almost right away. Some minor swelling may occur lasting only a day or two.

What Injectables Do You Use for Jawline Definition?

Radiesse

For some patients, there are other contributing factors to the appearance of a weaker jawline. Bone loss due to age or genetics, for example. For those cases, filler is a fantastic solution. Filler replaces bone for a tighter, sculpted line.

Radiesse® (Radiesse) is an injectable that fills and smooths the appearance of the jawline in men and women without the time and expense of surgery. Radiesse utilizes calcium hydroxyapatite in a flexible microsphere gel that effectively volumizes your face. It’s often used with wrinkle fillers and relaxers to very effectively rejuvenate and refresh your overall appearance, as well. It targets chin wrinkles, pre-jowl folds, lip lines and can restore volume lost with age.

NOTE: Clients with allergies to lidocaine may not be eligible for Radiesse treatments.

Kybella

Another type of injectable used in sculpting the jawline is Kybella® (Kybella). It helps clients to achieve a hyper-sculpted jawline by breaking down fat deposits in the jowls. It also reduces the appearance of turkey neck and double chins.

Kybella addresses fat under the chin in clients of a variety of ages. Deoxycholic acid, the active ingredient in Kybella, is an FDA approved substance that is naturally occurring in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of fat.

We recommend multiple treatments between 6-8 weeks apart. Patients can expect to see a 10-20% reduction in fat after completing the full series of treatments. Though multiple treatments may be required, facial sculpting is easy and affordable in this series of outpatient sessions.

Botox

Botox® can also help to sculpt and slim the jawline. In some cases, lack of jawline definition is tied to the downward pulling of neck muscles. This condition is something your doctor will diagnose during an office examination.

Botox injected in strategic points along the neck allows the muscle to pull up and in, thus defining the jawline. The in-office evaluation determines if neck muscles are overactive and that the use of Botox could then retrain these muscles.

How Much Recovery Time is Needed for a Jawline Sculpting Procedure?

There isn’t any real downtime. Most patients can return straight to work without signs that a procedure has been performed. There’s some risk of minor swelling and minimal bruising, but that rarely occurs in a jawline procedure using a cannula.

The results of a non-surgical jawline sculpting procedure last anywhere from 12 to 16 months.

What to Expect from a Jawline Facial Sculpting Treatment Series

Your jawline will have a more noticeable definition and your chin will be more pronounced. In general, your face will have a more taut, youthful angularity.

After your procedure, you’ll join the ranks of numerous people – famous and not – who have enjoyed the benefits of a tighter jawline thanks to jawline fillers.
