After surgery, you’ll need to be patient and wait for your body to heal. As with any surgery, recovery time is individualized based on the patient’s health and lifestyle. Generally speaking, expect the first few weeks following surgery to be a little bit challenging. 

You may also experience some swelling throughout the first week or so of recovery. You can begin more strenuous activities like light walking and gentle healing exercises when the swelling has eased up. Even once you feel healed, keep exercising in order to stay strong and healthy. If you’re unsure whether all of your needs are being met by your plastic surgeon during recovery, don’t be shy to ask questions!

Breast revision surgery isn’t something that’s done on a whim. Generally, it’s undergone by patients who’ve thought long and hard about adjusting their breasts. If you’re happy with everything except your breasts, breast revision surgery is the perfect option for you. 


Keep in mind that many patients experience loss of fullness due to breast revision; however, options like fat injections and implants can help achieve the look you want. Since everyone’s body heals differently, it’s impossible to know for sure what your final results will look like.
