Procedure Details
40 year old 3 months after a mini-facelift and juvederm filler placed in the under-eye area and lips. Goals of the procedure were to lift up the lower face, improve the jawline, and provide some minimum improvement in the upper neck. Volume was added by injected juvederm into the under-eye area to improve the appearance of the lower eyelid and cheek areas as well as the upper and lower lips.

A Mini Facelift is a Anti-Aging procedure that is often part of rejuvenating the face
CANDIDATES FOR MINI FACELIFT INCLUDE:
- falling of the lower face with minimal problems with the neck
- increasing prominence of the jowls
- loss of definition of the jawline
- deepening of the nasolabial fold
- loss of volume around the cheekbone
CANDIDATES WHO BENEFIT FROM ADDITION PROCEDURES INCLUDE:
- falling or sagging of the neck – neck lift
- fat neck or double chin – neck liposuction
- falling of the brows – temple or brow lift
- excess upper eyelid skin or fat – upper eyelid surgery ( blepharoplasty )
- excess lower eyelid skin or fat – lower eyelid surgery ( blepharoplasty )
- loss of volume particularly in temples, under-eye area, or around the mouth – fillers or fat transfer
SURGERY TIME:
1.5 HOURS IF ONLY A MINI FACELIFT IS NEEDED
TIME TO RETURN TO WORK:
- Most patients will return to work in about 1 weeks if no other procedures are needed
- Addition of most other procedures will add an additional week
- Fat transfer might add an additonal 2 weeks
FINAL RESULTS:
Final form takes 3 months but it is like a curve. Most will look pretty good in 2 weeks
