Upper and Lower eyelid blepharoplasty

Upper and Lower eyelid blepharoplasty describes the surgical rejuvenation of the upper and lower eyelids.
Asian patients have characteristic features that are different than Caucasian counterparts.

  • The nasal bridge is generally flat and shallow
  • Bulbous or wide nasal tip
  • Wide nostrils relative to the nose

In contrast, Caucasian patients more typically have a nasal bump, larger nasal bones, and a wide nasal base. Typically, a Asian rhinoplasty will require:

  • building up of the nasal bridge using septal or ear cartilage grafts or implants,
  • narrowing the nasal cartilages with inter-cartilaginous sutures and and nasal tip grafts and
  • narrowing of the nostrils with a wier excision

1.5 TO 2 HOURS

  • Most patients will return to work in about 1 weeks if no other procedures are needed

Final form takes 6 months to a year but it is like a curve. Most will look pretty good in 2 weeks
